ESC UK moves up a gear as expo opens

LONDON — The second day of the ESC UK saw the exhibition open its doors as the organizers announced record breaking pre-booked attendance for the event. Being held at the FiVE International Show Centre in Farnborough, ESC UK kicked off on Tuesday with a series or in-depth seminars and continues to Thursday with a conference and exhibition running in parallel.

Formerly known as the Embedded Systems Show (ESS), the event is designed to aid the professional development of system engineers & software developers .

More than 1150 engineers, executives, vendors, journalists and industry analysts have pre-registered for the event, a 10 percent growth over the 2008 event.

With over 65 electronics companies on the expo floor demonstrating products and services; exhibiting companies will provide a record breaking 14 sponsored educational sessions.

Over 100 attendees have registered to participate in the Embedded Systems Conference UK; a 206 percent growth over last year's event. Forty electronics industry thought leaders will deliver keynote and industry addresses or participate in panel discussions.
