Video: Novellus CEO says no to 450-mm

At the Semicon West trade show here, Mark LaPedus, semiconductor editor from EE Times, met with Richard Hill, chairman and CEO of Novellus Systems Inc. (San Jose, Calif.), a chip-equipment maker.

In a video, Hill provides an outlook for the fab-tool industry and talks about the shift to cooper interconnects in memory devices. Hill also speaks out against the need for the industry to migrate towards 450-mm fabs.
