Si2 announces board of directors

MANHASSET, N.Y. — The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) announced the election of their Board of Directors for the 2006 to 2007 term, as well as the place and time for the annual members meeting.

The new board members are: Philips Semiconductors, represented by Mr. Barry Dennington, Senior VP of SoC Design Technology; and Synopsys, represented by Don MacMillen, VP of Engineering.

The re-elected Board Members and their representatives are: Mark Porter (AMD); John Goodenough (ARM Inc.); Jan Willis (Cadence Design Systems Inc.); John Darringer (IBM Microelectronics); Rahul Goyal (Intel Corp.); Sudhakar Sabada (LSI Logic Inc.); and James Lin (National Semiconductor Corp.).

Si2 currently has over 100 member companies. Recent new members include: Semiconductor Technology Academic Research Center (STARC), Coupling Wave Solutions, ICScape, OEA International, Sequence Design, Texas Instruments, and ArchPro Design Automation.

The annual Si2 Members Meeting will be held July 24, from 6 to 7:30 PM in the Moscone Center, Room #111, San Francisco.
