HomePNA: No new wires

With the convergence of HDTV, VoIP, iTunes, YouTube, downloadable movies and broadband access, the potential to offer consumers the interactive digital entertainment experience they require inside the home has never been greater. The question is how do we enable consumers to easily route entertainment throughout their entire house so they can watch what they want to watch or listen to their content on any device in their house?

The purpose of this article is to introduce a smart way to think about this routing question and to show you how to use existing phone or coax wiring to seize the opportunity.
