Book Excerpt: Analog Circuit Design Series--Waveform Processing Circuits (Part 2 of 4)

Dennis Feucht, Innovatia Laboratories

11/30/2009 7:00 AM EST

Analog circuits are a historical and yet still effective way to develop waveforms and process signals, and are used for function generators, triangle-wave generators, absolute-value detectors, and peak detectors.

We are pleased to present, with the publisher's permission, excerpts from a chapter of the four-volume Analog Circuit Design Series by Dennis Feucht, just published by SciTech Publishing. You can read about the entire four-volume set, and see its detailed Table of Contents here.

We are excerpting part of Volume 4, Chapter 1 as follows:

  • Part 1, Function Generation, click here.
  • Part 2, Triangle-Wave Generators, click here.
  • Part 3, Absolute-Value (Precision Rectifier) Circuits, will be posted December 7.
  • Part 4, Peak Detectors, will be posted December 14.
