Create a secure wallet for Bitcoins
If mining for Bitcoins (or your coin of choice) is your financial endeavor, you probably understand that the digital currency can become lost or stolen, especially if your data is not secure. This is where a ‘wallet’ of sorts becomes worth its weight in digital gold and can be done rather easily with a flash drive.
Leaving your currency in an online wallet is fine if you are trading every day; however for a savings account, its best to secure your data offline. To set your wallet up, you should consider using Ubuntu, as its security measures are far greater than Microsoft's when it comes to malware, viruses, and other nastiness.
Directions for setting up your wallet can be found here: "How to create a secure Bitcoin wallet", which can get users setup with a secure digital wallet that can be transported anywhere safely with minimal risk.
