SpinCircuit Inc., which provides collaborative product commerce services, said today it acquired eBizAutomation Inc., a developer of b2b infrastructure technologies.
San Jose-based SpinCircuit will acquire all assets of eBizAutomation and pick up a 15-member engineering team, the company said. The financial terms were not disclosed.
"This acquisition gives SpinCircuit a great technological advantage in the CPC marketplace, and will accelerate delivery of next-generation services for our customers," said Pat Guerra, SpinCircuit president and chief executive in a released statement. "The acquisition will help SpinCircuit deliver new and expanded services that enable our partners and customers to get their electronic products to market more quickly and efficiently."
eBizAutomation's products are based on proprietary technology as well as on the e-speak open-software platform from Hewlett-Packard Co. The e-speak platform provides a secure, Internet-based environment through which companies can collaborate internally and with outside partners.
SpinCiruit allows engineers, component suppliers and product manufacturers to share design information. It has formed strategic partnerships with partners such as Avnet Inc. Cadence Design Systems, Flextronics International Ltd. and HP.
