SuperMicro Inc., San Jose, Calif., has introduced a motherboard using Intel Corp.'s newest 875P chipset supporting the Pentium 4 3.06GHz processor, 800MHz front side bus and DDR400 memory, but also including three legacy ISA slots as well.
The P4SCA main board offers the latest Intel processor infrastructure, including two serial ATA ports, Intel Gigabit LAN, ATI Technologies Rage XL 8Mbyte PCI video controller, and the Intel HyperThreading 3.06GHz Pentium 4 processor.
A SuperMicro spokesman said the motherboard also includes the three ISA slots to allow users to have an easy seamless upgrade from existing legacy peripherals.
"The P4SCA will let users enjoy the current performance gains of Intel's 875 chipset and 800MHz front side bus and still keep their ISA bus," the spokesman said.
He said the motherboard is priced at less than $300 each.
