Reading this news again just brings nostalgic memories when this was first launched in the market. It was a great technological advancement, revolutionizing media display. I recall seeing such when I visited every exhibition during that period. It was a feat to have such HDTV. But nowadays, more and more technological breakthroughs are coming out in the market better and more energy saving (now the talk of becoming greener and more environment-friendly). It is rather amazing that in over a decade, displays have evolved so fast that we will never know how long we can keep existing displays technology for so long until a new one, and a better one, comes out.
