SAN JOSE, Calif. RF tool vendor Eagleware Corp. has announced it has changed its name to Eagleware-Elanix Corp., reflecting its merger
last December with ESL tool vendor Elanix Corp.
The newly named company also released a new version of the Elanix System View ES level DSP tool with support for the emerging ultrawideband (UWB) IEEE standards and announced a Web seminar outlining the new company's product roadmap.
According to the company, SystemView 2005 supports both candidate standards for UWB communications-Multiband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MB-OFDM) and Direct Sequence UWB (DS-UWB).
With the new libraries, the company claimed, SystemView users can build the physical layer from transmit to receive with channel model interference. The libraries support Common Signaling Mode and standard preambles.
Developers can design either MB-OFDM or DS-UWB or evaluate both standards within a single system, the company claimed.
Eagleware-Elanix will host a Web seminar outlining the product integration roadmap on Tuesday (Jan. 18). Registration information is available at on the company's Web site.
