SAN FRANCISCO Magma Design Automation Inc. said Thursday (June 30) that its Blast Fusion chip implementation solution received the Outstanding Performance Award in the design environment/ development tool category at the 12th annual LSI of the Year awards ceremony Wednesday in Yokohama, Japan.
The award ceremony, sponsored by Sangyo Times Inc., was held in conjunction with the 8th Embedded System Expo & Conference at the Tokyo Bigsite, Magma (Santa Clara, Calif.) said.
The LSI of the Year awards, established in 1994 to promote semiconductor market development and technology, acknowledge the most remarkable LSI products and technologies and the best design environment/ development tools from the previous year.
Magma said all entries underwent stringent examination and awards were presented for each respective category: the Grand Prix, the Pre Grand Prix and Outstanding Performance Award.
