SAN FRANCISCO HDL Works has optimized its Ease design entry tool for Actel Corp.'s Libero integrated design environment (IDE) design flow, the companies said Tuesday (July 26).
HDL Works said the optimized Ease for the Libero IDE flow would offer Libero users easy access to all features available in Ease via an enhanced and intuitive interface.
"This integration offers our mutual customers the right toolset for the ever increasing complexity for high-end FPGA designs," said Willem Gruter, president and CEO of HDL Works, in a statement.
The Ease tool is available now at a price that begins at $4,200. An evaluation copy can be downloaded from the HDL Works' Web site.
HDL Works (Ede, The Netherlands) also announced it has joined the Actel (Mountain View, Calif.) EDA Alliance Program.
