SAN FRANCISCO AccelChip Inc. said Wednesday (Aug. 31) that it would partner with British design services provider Systems4Silicon in an effort to bolster the company's design service capacity.
Under the terms of the arrangement, Systems4Silicon (Bristol, England) will provide third-party design and methodology services to the companies' mutual customers, according to AccelChip (Milpitas, Calif.).
"Systems4Silicon has a thorough understanding of wireless channel, RF, and digital signal processing algorithms such as filters, frequency translation, closed-loop control systems, and wireless modems," said Tom Feist, AccelChip vice president of marketing and international sales, in a statement. "Their commitment to high-end digital design makes them an ideal partner to extend AccelChip's design service offerings."
AccelChip provides Matlab-based algorithmic synthesis solutions, including digital signal processor (DSP) intellectual property for embedded DSP design. The company provides design tools, integrated verification flow, and parametric IP toolkits that combine to automate the development and implementation of DSP algorithms in FPGAs and ASICs.
