LONDON Integrated Materials Inc. (IMI), a manufacturer of polycrystalline silicon products, including wafer boats and towers used in semiconductor diffusion, has closed a Series C round of funding at $8.8 million, the company said Tuesday (Nov. 29).
The financing was led by American River Ventures with investments from existing investors Alloy Ventures, Labrador Ventures, and Rocket Ventures. In conjunction with the Series C financing, Barbara Grant of American River Ventures is set to join the board of directors of IMI (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
