SAN FRANCISCO The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) have announced plans to host an all-day design-for-manufacturing (DFM) workshop Dec. 13.
The workshop, which will be held at SEMI headquarters in San Jose, Calif., is designed to encourage continued DFM collaboration, according to the sponsoring organizations, and will allow participants to interact with industry experts from across the supply chain.
Presentations by invited speakers and breakout sessions will focus on DFM topics within the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS), including yield, statistical design, data security and IP protection. Speakers include representatives from Cadence Design Systems Inc., IBM Corp., ILS Technology, Ponte Solutions, Sematech and others.
The cost of attending the workshop is $100 for SEMI and Si2 members; $125 for non-members. More information about the workshop is available on the SEMI and Si2 Web sites.
