SAN FRANCISCO Programmable logic supplier Lattice Semiconductor Corp. Thursday (Dec. 15) narrowed its fourth quarter revenue guidance. The company now expects fourth quarter revenue to be up 1 to 2 percent from third quarter revenue, down slightly from the company's earlier growth forecast of 1 to 3 percent.
Lattice blamed the narrowed forecast on slightly lower-than-expected "turns" orders, which are orders placed and shipped within the same quarter.
Lattice (Hillsboro, Ore.) posted third quarter net revenue of $53.4 million. A 1 to 2 percent increase in net revenue would put Lattice's fourth quarter net revenue in the range of $58 million to $63 million.
Lattice said it expects fourth quarter gross margin percentage to be approximately flat with the third quarter. The company expects total quarterly operating expenses to be approximately $36 million to $37 million. A one-time restructuring charge associated with an October layoff is expected to be approximately $8 million to $10 million, Lattice said.
