SAN FRANCISCO Software-defined radio startup TechnoConcepts Inc. Wednesday (Dec. 28) announced that its Hong Kong subsidiary, Techno Ltd., has established a new headquarters at the Hong Kong Science & Technology Park, where it will get access to leading EDA tools.
"The science park provides services for the entire integrated circuit (IC) product development cycle from initial design to production release," said Antonio Turgeon, TechnoConcepts chairman and CEO, in a statement. "We will utilize these resources and capabilities to supplement our internal capabilities. This strategy is in line with other tenants in the HKSTP, such as Royal Philips Electronics and Freescale Semiconductor."
The Hong Kong Science & Technology Park provides leading edge EDA tools and platforms from major EDA vendors, including Agilent, Altera Corp., Cadence Design Systems Inc., Mentor Graphics Corp., Magma Design Automation Inc. and Synopsys Inc., TechnoConcepts (Van Nuys, Calif.) said, as well as automated test equipment supporting analog, mixed signal, RF and digital product testing, a product reliability laboratory and a product analysis laboratory.
