SAN JOSE, Calif. Machine-vision equipment provider PPT Vision Inc. said revenues for the fourth quarter were $1.2 million, down 41 percent from the like period a year ago.
The company's net loss from continuing operations for the quarter was $601,000, or minus $0.20 per share, as compared with a loss from continuing operations of $219,000, or minus $0.07 per share, for the same period in fiscal 2004.
For the year, net revenues decreased 35 percent to $5.65 million, compared with $8.67 million for the previous year. The company reported a net loss from continuing operations for fiscal 2005 of $2.32 million, or minus $0.77 per share, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $1.07 million, or minus $0.36 per share, for fiscal 2004.
These results represent the two-dimensional, machine-vision business operations of the company only. It completed the sale of its three-dimensional equipment business in October of 2004.
