BANGALORE, India A gap in the Indian semiconductor industry-- the lack of any official statistics on the industry here-- will be filled next week with the release of a market research study.
The study was commissioned last year by the India Semiconductor Association (ISA) and entrusted to Frost & Sullivan. The report will detail application segments, product categories and evaluate the increasing staffing challenges faced by the semi industry here.
"This report will be invaluable for all players, both domestic and international and will provide detailed insights into the current demand, investment opportunities and employment opportunities in this industry. The report will highlight the opportunities and the potential that this sector holds in the country," said Poornima Shenoy, president, ISA.
The two-part study covers the India semiconductor market between 2005-2015 and the India semiconductor and embedded design market during the same period.
