SAN FRANCISCO RF CMOS chip supplier Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. Tuesday (March 28) opened the company's third engineering design site, the New England Design Center.
Peregrine (San Diego) said the center, based in Nashua, N.H., would provide a concentrated locality of RF, analog and mixed-signal design expertise. The initial design group is comprised of experienced RF/microwave design and product development engineers with an average of 17 years experience, the company said.
“The launch of the [New England Design Center] team allows us to further serve an industry seeking more highly integrated RF solutions for multimode operation of next-generation protocols such as GSM/EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA/UMTS and WLAN,” said Dan Nobbe, Peregrine vice president of engineering, in a statement.
Peregrine also maintains design sites at company headquarters in San Diego and outside of Chicago in Palatine, Ill.
