SAN FRANCISCO Programmable logic supplier Actel Corp. posted a GAAP net loss of $200,000 on revenue of $46.3 million for the first quarter, the company said Tuesday (April 25).
The $200,000 net loss, which takes into account stock-based compensation and amortization charges in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), equates to about 1 cent per share. By contrast, Actel (Mountain View, Calif.) posed net gains of $1.4 million and $1.2 million for the year-ago and prior sequential quarters, the company said.
First quarter net revenue of $46.3 million was up 5 percent year-to-year and up 6 percent sequentially, Actel said.
Actel turned in a non-GAAP net income of $2.6 million for the first quarter, up from $2 million in the prior year first quarter and $1.4 million in the previous sequential quarter, the company said.
Actel said it is currently expecting second quarter revenue to be flat to up in the low single digit range compared to the first quarter.
