MANHASSET, N.Y. Video processing technology supplier Enuclia Semiconductor Inc., has named Chip Burczak, a former Intel and Cadence executive, as its chief financial officer.
Burczak spent nearly 25 years with Intel (Santa Clara, Calif.), where he was involved in roles ranging from hands-on engineering to operations, including establishing international design centers in Russia, India and China. Prior to joining Enuclia, he served as vice-president and corporate controller for EDA solutions provider Cadence Design Systems (San Jose).
"I am very excited to be joining Enuclia Semiconductor," said Burczak in a statement. "I believe the company's patent-pending Pipeline Video architecture
will dramatically impact the rapidly growing digital television (DTV) market. In particular, I am impressed by the potential to simultaneously lower costs and improve video quality.
