SAN FRANCISCO The organizers of the Design Automation Conference (DAC) Monday (Aug. 14) issued a call for papers for the 44th DAC.
The conference is inviting original technical contributions describing recent and novel research or engineering developments in EDA, organizers said. The conference will feature a special automotive electronics theme, and related papers are especially encouraged, according to organizers.
The call for papers solicits submissions in 18 topic categories that span all areas of design automation tools and methodologies, silicon solutions and embedded systems, organizers said. Details may be found in the call for papers on the DAC Web site.
"The size and complexity of automotive systems raises a full range of design issues from system level integration to analog and mixed-signal verification," said Steven Levitan, 44th DAC general chair. "We expect this topic will lead to an exciting and diverse set of technical presentations and panel sessions that will be of interest to a wide array of conference attendees."
The submission deadline for regular papers is Monday, Nov. 20. Authors whose papers are selected will be notified by email by March 9, 2007. Proposals for special sessions, panels and tutorials are due on Wednesday, Nov. 1, DAC said.
The 44th DAC is scheduled for June 4-8, 2007, in San Diego.
