SAN JOSE, Calif. Micron Technology Inc. announced the retirement of two long-time directors, Robert Lothrop and William Weber, from the company's board of directors.
Lothrop and Weber announced that they will not stand for re-election and their resignations will take effect at the close of the annual meeting on Dec. 5.
Lothrop was first elected to the company's board of directors in 1986. He served from 1986 through 1992, then from 1994 through the present. Weber was first elected to the company's board of directors in 1998, following the acquisition by the company of Texas Instruments Inc.'s memory operations.
