Sounds very interesting. However, if you find a faulty component on the PCB can you remove and replace it or do you have to scrap the entire PCB?

Very interesting indeed. @UniquelyMe: Even if one has to replace the entire PCB, to the majority of consumers a faulty component usually means the whole device needs to be replaced. In that case it probably won't make a difference for certain devices or companies.
