How long does it take that bit change to propogate? What is the best means of timing parallel digital synchronous signals? I'll say it again ALL Electronics are Analog, they may be disguised in a digital package or as a logic element but when it comes to transistor leakage, output loading, Transition timing it's an analog signal. If you disagree with me then find me a signal that can change state's rail to rail without any loss and absolutelutely no delay. I admire complex FPGA designers but even there delays have to be taken into consideration. Just one part of the learning curve for Digital designers, the part they seldom understand.
