SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Lattice Semiconductor Corp. has appointed Jan Johannessen, senior vice president and chief financial officer, as interim president and chief executive.
Steve Skaggs, CEO of the chip maker, announced his resignation on May 31.
The PLD maker continues to spill red ink. For the first quarter, Lattice recently said revenue was $56.6 million, an increase of 7 percent from the $53.1 million reported in the prior quarter, and a decrease of 3 percent from the $58.1 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.
Net loss for the first quarter was $3.3 million, or minue $0.03 per share, as compared to a prior quarter net loss of $229.5 million, or minus $1.99 per share, and a net loss of $4.4 million, or minus $0.04 per share, reported in the same quarter a year ago.
For Q2, revenue is expected to grow 1 percent to 4 percent on a sequential basis.
