I am cheering for Applied's efforts in solar. Maybe they should look at what MEMC is doing in solar (i.e. SunEdison). I wish AMAT would join forces with Nikon in litho.

This company has a history of hiring by the bus load and then laying off by the boat load. I've been in the valley for over thirty years and I'm seeing people avoiding any position offer by this company and viewing it as a temp job if they have too.
