WARREN, N.J. Anadigics Inc. has announced the opening of a design center in Newbury Park, Calif., expanding its design capacity and establishing a support center for customers in the western United States and Asia-Pacific region.
The new facility will be staffed with design engineers, product development engineers, application engineers, and sales and marketing personnel. This is the second design facility Anadigics has opened this year, following the opening of a center in Dallas.
"The California design center increases Anadigics' capacity to develop innovative RFIC products that meet the needs of the growing global communications market," said Bami Bastani, president and chief executive officer of the company, based here. "I expect this new facility to help us achieve our aggressive product development goals for the coming year and beyond."
The 5,500-square-foot-facility in California will feature state-of-the-art CAD tools and a design verification/customer applications RF laboratory, the company said.
