SHELTON, Conn. -- Communications-chip maker TranSwitch Corp. raised its forecast for the second quarter of 2002.
TranSwitch expects second quarter net revenues to be approximately $6.0 million, as compared to the previous guidance of $4.5 million to $5.0 million. Stronger European demand for the company's DSL product line contributed to the better than expected net revenues this quarter.
The company continues to work with its customers to assess third quarter demand. At the present time, net revenues for the third quarter, 2003 are estimated to be in the $4.5 million range.
