CTI Group, a developer of VoIP call recording communications tools, announced the expansion of their VoIP call recording portfolio to include SmartRecord cards and recording-enabled SIP trunks. With the addition of these products, CTI Group plans to broaden the reach of VoIP call recording with the goal of reducing the initial capital investment for the end user.
According to CTI Group, SmartRecord cards provide a call recording benefit for mobile business and legal regulations and compliances, while recording-enabled SIP trunks provide call recording service without the initial capital investment.
CTI reported that both products utilize a friendly on-line interface for retrieval of recorded calls.
The SmartRecord Cards are 800-number cards that allow the user to record calls on-demand from any location. The user simply enters the 800-number, enters the destination number and then retrieves the recorded conversation on-line through a user friendly, interactive on-line interface. This product expands the locations from which professionals can make recorded calls, catering to the more mobile, global business market of today.
SmartRecord Cards also provide the opportunity for businesses to track calls by agents rather than by phone, which helps in call tracking for performance and training regulations.
The recording-enabled SIP trunks are designed to offer call recording service to professionals without the initial capital investment common among call recording systems. The call recording feature is offered through the VoIP service, and the end user is billed monthly for the service, rather than paying for the hardware that has previously been required for call recording. By lowering initial capital investment, service providers are able to reach a broader range of end users by providing more flexibility in call recording options.
"These recording solutions are designed to increase the service providers' feature set and grow end user business by offering flexible solutions," said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer for CTI Group.
SmartRecord cards are also meant to allow calls to be recorded from any location, not only on-site, which is crucial in a mobile business market. Recording-enabled SIP trunks enable businesses to use call recording while limiting their capital investment, and allow service providers to improve their flexibility.
