Ottawa, Canada Two 512-channel switch ICs, the ZL50010 and ZL50011, have been unleashed for TDM applications. The switch ICs contain a PLL that meets the network synchronization requirements of Telcordia's GR-1244-CORE standard for Stratum 4E clocks. The input clock reference for both PLLs operate at 2.048 MHz, 1.544 MHz, or 8 kHz. The ZL50010 sports additional circuitry that allows its integrated PLL to two reference clocks and deliver holdover capabilities. The switch devices are offered in a 24 x 24-mm, 160-pin LQFP and a 13 x 13-mm, 144-pin BGA.
Pricing: In 1000-unit quantities and in an LQFP package, the ZL50010 is priced at $18.50 while the ZL50011 is offered at $15.
