Greensboro, N.C. The RF3163, RF3164, and RF3165 power amplifier modules are developed using lead-frame module (LFM) technology. Products designed using LFM technology do not require laminate or LTCC substrates as well as surface-mount components.
All three amplifiers operate from a 3-V supply and deliver a +28-dBm output power. The RF3163 works over the 824 to 849 MHz band and offers a 41-percent peak linear efficiency, -51 ACPR at 885 kHz, +28.5-dBm linear gain, and 55-percent AMPS efficiency. The RF3164 works over the 1850 to 1910 MHz band and sports a 40-per peak efficiency, -49-dbm ACPR at 1.25 MHz, and 28-dB gain. The RF3165 spans the 1750 to 1780 MHz band and offers a 41-percent peak efficiency, -49-dBc ACPR at 1.25 MHz, and 28-dB linear gain. All three parts are offered in a 3 x 3 x 0.9-mm QFN.
