LONDON Germany's Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI) is working with the organizers of the Electronic trade event, Messe Munchen, on a wireless congress focusing on R&D, systems and applications.
The aim is to have an annual congress on wireless technologies and advances, with the inaugural one held through November 10th and 11th during Electronica ( November 9th through 12th).
Topics to be highlighted include mobile telephony; wireless LANs and PANs; RFID goods identification, industrial radio data, control and automation; wireless security and wireless sensor networks.
The organizers have commenced a call for papers and are looking for contributions covering technical advances, standardization issues and the economic prospects for the different technologies.
