Las Vegas, NV--June 3, 1996--A program called "CoreBank", which accelerates the movement towards systems-on-a-chip field-programmable gate arrays, was announced by Crosspoint Solutions Inc., of Milpitas, CA, at the Design Automation Conference in Las Vegas.
This program comprises a library of system building blocks developed by Crosspoint Solutions and its CoreBank program partners (including companies in New Hampshire and Ireland) to simplify the successful design of high-density customer- programmable ASICs. These CoreBank functions provide designers access to proven Crosspoint Solutions and third-party intellectual property building blocks for incorporation into designs made with Crosspoint Solutions CP20K and CP100K CrossFire FPGAs.
The CoreBank library will include a selection of functions ranging from simple register files to large system-level building blocks. All CoreBank functions have complete synthesis and simulation models, include test vectors, and are fully parameterized for maximum flexibility.
Present CoreBank program partners deliver state-of-the-art cores for digital signal processing, communications, computer and network applications. Other IP-provider partners will be added over the next year.
