San Francisco, CA--July 30, 1996--Miller Freeman Inc. (San Francisco, CA) announced the dates and location for two technical conferences addressing the topics of communication system design and DSP (digital signal processing) technology. The Communication Design Engineering Conference (CDEC) and The DSP World Spring Design Conference at the Washington D.C. Convention Center will be held March 24-28, 1997. This marks a new date and venue for CDEC, which was initially scheduled for October 1996. The two separate conferences will run subsequent to each other and share a common exhibition floor that will be open for two days, March 25-26.
CDEC will offer more than 60 tutorials and classes in a 3-day period, from March 24-26. The DSP World Spring Design Conference, running March 26-28, will also feature more than 60 classes and tutorials for working DSP engineers. These will include sessions on communications and telephony design, and other areas for signal processing, such as biomedical systems, data acquisition, image processing, speech processing, and multimedia.
This is the second CDEC produced by Miller Freeman. It will offer detailed, hands-on classes and tutorials focused on design solutions for internetworking, ATM, mobile data, video compression, local and wide area networks, and other converging technologies.
The DSP World Spring Design Conference, an entirely new event, was created specifically to meet the on-the-job educational needs of engineers working with DSP technologies. It complements the peer-reviewed and research-oriented topics of the International Conference on Signal Processing Applications and Technology (ICSPAT) and DSP World.
