Camarillo, CA--July 26, 1996--ACT Networks Inc. announced the appointment of Steve Blasingame as director of channel programs and Roland Glines as director of customer service.
Blasingame has extensive experience marketing through various sales channels and developing partner programs for leading telecommunications and computer companies. Blasingame recently served as director, private Internet hosting services for AT&T Corp. He has also held various other positions in channel marketing including director of advanced technology program development with NCR Corp. and director of internetworking program development for AT&T, where he directed AT&T's worldwide relationship with Cisco Systems.
Roland Glines brings over 15 years experience in management positions for international high tech companies. Most recently, Glines was director of customer service for ComStream, a San Diego-based satellite communications systems company, where he opened the first communications service center in China and centers in Columbia, United Kingdom, Mexico, and Indonesia. Glines has also held senior customer service positions for Computer Resources Group, Fibronics International, Davox/TBS International, BICC Data Networks and Datapoint Corp.
