Santa Clara, CA--July 23, 1996--Selectica Inc. (Santa Clara) has been formed here to develop and market object-oriented software engines, which will enable application developers to embed "selection expertise" in their Internet applications.

The SDK-100 will be available in August, and is priced at $10,000 per seat and includes a 3-day training workshop for one programmer. Additional SDK-100 licenses cost $5,000 per seat and also include the training workshop.
