(Palo Alto, CA) introduced the first in a planned series of computer verification tools that provide insight into PCI-based designs--from chips to boards and systems.
The HP E2920 PCI series of computer verification tools can be used to bring up, debug, and validate PCI-based designs, helping designers reveal and solve design problems early in the development process. These tools enable designers to stress devices and systems deterministically with bus traffic. This stressing emulates the real-world traffic conditions of a final application so designers can intelligently analyze a design's behavior.
With its open architecture and in-system programmability, the HP E2920 PCI series also can be integrated into the validation-test environment by using an external test controller or the system under test.
The HP E2920 PCI series is a modular system that allows customers to select the capabilities appropriate to their application.
The HP E2925A 32-bit, 33MHz PCI exerciser and analyzer is priced at $6,900, the HP E2970A PCI analyzer graphical user interface is priced at $2,950, and the HP E2971A PCI exerciser graphical user interface is priced at $4,950. All products are available now; delivery is estimated at four to eight weeks after receipt of order for all products. Prices are for single units.
