Newark, CA--September 15, 1996--Eg3 Communications has announced a new free WWW resource for design engineers in the electronics area: The EE Virtual Trade Conference. The EE VTC is available now at http://www.eg3.com/vtc.htm and is part of Eg3's Virtual Publishing Project. As such it is free to download, requires no registration, and is available worldwide via the Internet.
Eg3 has received support and vision statements from executives at corporations such as Intel, ARM Ltd., Spyglass, and Marshall Industries. For example, Eg3 is publishing a new excerpt from Intel CEO Andy Grove's forthcoming book, Only the Paranoid Survive. In his book, Grove argues that "strategic inflection points" can make or break high technology companies, and that the Internet is one of these points today.
The EE VTC features over 225 technical white papers on topics such as object oriented programming, virtual distribution, DSP, the set top (Internet) box, WWW for embedded systems, embedded Java, networking and embedded networking, real-time operating systems, and designing with the 8051 or 68HC11.
