Fairview, PA--October 23, 1996--A complete line of power entry filters designed for general purpose broad band EMI filtering is introduced by Spectrum Control Inc. (Erie, PA). This family of products includes power entry modules, PCB mount power filters, and power line filters. They offer cost-effective filtering solutions for power supplies, switching devices, communications equipment, computers and peripherals, digital, and medical equipment.
Power entry modules are metal-cased, IEC connect filters offering high filtering performance, which makes them suitable for porducts that must conform to FCC part 15 and European regulations. These filters are rated for voltages up to 10 A and are available with a variety of terminal sytles. Spectrum power entry modules meet over-voltage requirements of IEC 664 category II, comply with IEC 950, and are CSA and TUV approved.
Miniature PCB mounted power filters save PCB real estate. They are rated for AC or DC currents up to 3.6 A and standard for two wire cord systems. These filters are UL, CSA, and TUV approved.
Power line filters are available in single and multisection circuits and suitable for products that must conform to FCC and FTZ regulations. These filters are rated for AC or DC currents up to 30 A and will filter both differrential mode and common mode noise. They offer varying levels of UL, CSA, and TUV recognition and approval.
