Princeton, NJ--November 19, 1996--Dataram Corp. announced memory upgrades for Digital Equipment Corp.'s AlphaServer 4000 and 4100. The new memory is immediately available as a 128 Mbyte upgrade. The 512 Mbyte, 1 Gbyte, and 2 Gbyte upgrades are planned to be released early 1997. Dataram offers the new upgrades as a cost-effective alternative to purchasing memory from the original equipment manufacturer.
The DRD4100/128 utilizes the latest SDRAM technology and is offered as a pair of 64 Mbyte memory boards.
The DRD4100 is priced at $3,850 for the 128 Mbyte upgrade.
Dataram offers 100 percent compatible memory enhancement products for Digital, HP, Sun, IBM, Apple, Compaq, NCD, and Silicon Graphics workstations, servers, mid-range systems, and personal computers.
