Fort Collins, CO--December 23, 1996--National Semiconductor Corp.'s (Santa Clara, CA) Comlinear Product Group announced a family of high-speed, high-performance op amps and buffers available in SOT-23 TinyPak packages.
The Comlinear family of TinyPak op amps offers bandwidths from 80 MHz to 350 MHz coupled with secondary specs to meet specific needs for high speed, high output, low distortion, low noise, and low power.
Four of the eight new Comlinear TinyPak devices are entirely new products that feature a unique buffer-driven, common-mode emitter output. They can source or sink up to 130mA and drive a 100-ohm load within 1.2V of either supply rail. All can operate from either a single +5V supply or dual +/-5V supplies.
The other four newly announced TinyPak devices are op amps previously available only in DIP and SOIC packages. These devices provide most features found in the larger versions. They include:
- High speed CLC404--165 MHz BW, 2600V per ms slew rate.
- Low differential gain/phase CLC406--160 MHz BW, 0.02 percent/0.02 degrees diff gain/phase for video applications.
- Low distortion CLC409--350 MHz BW, -65/-72dBc 2nd/3rd harmonics.
- Low noise CLC425--1.9 GHz GBW, 1.05nV/rtHz input voltage noise.
The Comlinear TinyPak op amps start at $1.39 in 1000s. The CLC404 and CLC409 will be available in the first quarter of 1997. All other devices are available immediately.
