Allentown, Pa.--Aug. 27, 1997--SubMicron Systems Corp. (Allentown, Pa.) announced that it has appointed Robert P. Tetu as vice president of Engineering.
Tetu, 45, has more than 13 years experience in operational and engineering management and will be reporting to Dr. Richard Novak, senior vice president of Technology. Tetu will be responsible for product development, sustaining engineering, and order engineering. Most recently, he was vice president Product Operations for Rodel Inc., a supplier of abrasive slurry and pads for the CMP market.
In addition to his work at Rodel, Tetu spent eight years with Avery Dennison in several operational positions. He has also worked for Medtronic Inc. and Boston Scientific Corp. Tetu holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
