Santa Clara, Calif.--Nov. 17, 1997--Chip Express Corp. (Santa Clara) announced the promotion of two executives. Sharone Zehavi is promoted to vice president of Operations, reporting to Zvi Or-Bach, president and CEO. Udi Yuhjtman is promoted to vice president of Engineering, reporting to Or-Bach.
Sharone Zehavi joined Chip Express seven years ago and served in various process, R&D, and operations management positions. During this period he was co-inventor of two patents related to semiconductor processes. Prior to joining Chip Express Zehavi worked for National Semiconductor in Israel. Zehavi received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Institute of Technology, Israel.
Udi Yuhjtman had been with Chip Express from its inception 11 years ago, while still at an incubation type development stage at the electronics holding company Elron (Israel). Arriving in the U.S. in 1990, he participated in establishing the first operations facility and started the engineering department which he has been managing since. Yuhjtman received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Technion, Institute of Technology, Israel.
