New York, N.Y.-- Dec. 19, 1997--Robotic Vision Systems, Inc. (RVSI) announced the promotion of Steve Bilodeau to the newly-created position of president of the Semiconductor Equipment Group of RVSI, along with his appointment to the board of directors of RVSI. RVSI's Semiconductor Equipment Group encompasses RVSI Electronics (Hauppauge, N.Y.), RVSI Systemation (New Berlin, Wisc.), and RVSI Vanguard (Tucson, Ariz.).
Mr. Bilodeau, who has two engineering degrees from M.I.T. and an MBA from Harvard, has been with RVSI for twelve years in management positions of steadily increasing responsibility. For the last six years, Mr. Bilodeau has headed the RVSI Electronics operations as it has grown by more than ten times its original size.
RVSI also announced the promotion of Mr. Ken Stenton to the position of president of RVSI Electronics. Mr. Stenton has been with RVSI for a year and a half in the position of executive vice president, operations for RVSI Electronics. Mr. Stenton has over twenty years of management experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries. He holds a physics degree from UCLA and an MBA from Wharton.
