Theceremony will be held at the new site located in the TanasbourneCommerce Center at 21515 NW Evergreen Parkway, Hillsboro, Ore. onFebruary 27, 1998 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. During the ceremony,Etec employees, corporate neighbors, and the Hillsboro community willhear remarks from Mayor Gordon Faber and Steve Cooper, Etec'schairman, president, and CEO. In addition, Paul Warkentin, senior vicepresident and COO; Bill Snyder, vice president and CFO; and JohnMosunic, site manager, are expected to speak during the ceremony.
David Patterson, known for his pioneering research that led to RAID, clusters and more, is part of a team at UC Berkeley that recently made its RISC-V processor architecture an open source hardware offering.
