Scottsdale, Ariz.--March 20, 1998--Pacific Numerix Corp. has made significant enhancements to its Electronic Design Validation System products for simulating the mechanical performance characteristics of electronic components, packages, and printed circuit boards.
Among the enhancements are additional capabilities for PNC's Component Library, a compact, analysis ready, embedded database of preexisting models for commonly used electronic components. PNC' s Component Library greatly reduces the amount of time required for engineers to evaluate the reliability and performance characteristics of their designs.
Pacific Numerix is planning to have the new Component Library technology available fordemonstration in time for the Design Automation Conference in June 1998. The software will be released to customers by the end of the summer.
