Wilsonville, Ore. and Eindhoven, the Netherlands--Aug. 18, 1998--Mentor Graphics Corp. (Wilsonville) announced that Royal Philips Electronics (Eindhoven) has selectedMentor's Custom Parts Services to provide library data for its worldwide organization. The library data will match Philips's Golden One LMSLibrary Specification.
Mentor's Custom Parts Services (CPS) team in Singapore willinitially deliver approximately 4,250 digital, analog, and mixed-signal libraryparts that will support Philips'selectronic design processes. Philips will use the library data for itsschematic capture, functional simulation, and circuit board layout.
Mentor's CPS registration process will ensure that the library generation environment isprogrammed according to Philips's One LMS library specification. Based on Philips's requirements, the configuration of the part development environment was programmed into varioustools, including Mentor's Part Development System (PDS) product.
