Northbrook, Ill.--August 18, 1998--The Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits (Northbrook) announces the Assembly Marketing Research Council & Technology Marketing Research Council conference taking place at the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in Phoenix, December 9-10. Futurist James Canton will deliver the keynote address for the two-day conference, focusing on where the printed wiring board and electronics manufacturing service industries will be in five years.
A former executive at Apple Computer, Canton is currently president of the Institute for Global Futures, a San Francisco-based high-tech company that advises clients on the impact of leading-edge technologies. He's also editor-in-chief of 21st Century On-line, the first digital magazine and talk show on the Microsoft Network, which reports on the latest technology trends and the emerging cyberculture that's reshaping society and commerce. He's also preparing for the release of his new book, Future Smart: Leading-Edge Technologies for the 21st Century.
IPC's AMRC/TMRC conferences provide attendees with technology and marketing information for members of the PWB and electronics assembly industries.
